Cambridge International Class 2025 IGCSE results were announced and our students wrote another brilliant chapter! Among them: Leung Chen Tse – 7A (6 A*, 1 A) Yanling Liu – 7A (1 A*, 6 A) Joan Chen – 5A (2 Section A*, 3 Section A) Liu Geng Li – 4A (4 Sections A*) Yu Yuchen, Lim Kah Mui – 4A (1 A* and 3 A’s each) Xie Zhengzhe – 3A (2 A*, 1 A) It is worthwhile to recognize that this year’s candidates performed well overall, with 100% pass rate in Chinese, English, Bahasa Malaysia, Higher Mathematics, Business Studies, Biology, Chemistry and Physics! This excellent result reaffirms the steady development of the Hualien International Program and the students’ spirit of hard work, with excellent performance of candidates in every session! The Principal would like to congratulate the students for their hard work and perseverance which has resulted in outstanding results! He would also like to thank the teachers for their hard work and cultivation. The 4th International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Graduation Ceremony of Hua Lian High School was successfully held.

Student Reporter: By Student reporterPhotos: Taken by Photography Club On July 26, 2025 (Saturday), the 4th IGCSE Graduation Ceremony was held in the Lecture Theatre to give our highest blessings to the 14 graduates. The ceremony not only symbolized the completion of their studies, but also marked a significant milestone for them as they embarked on a new phase of their lives. The ceremony was opened with the National Anthem. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, the Principal, the General Secretary of the Board of Directors, parents and all teachers gathered together to witness this meaningful moment. During the ceremony, student representative, IGCSE Head of Department Ms Amelia, Principal and Board of Directors representative delivered speeches on stage, full of encouragement and expectations. The student representative, in his speech, expressed his gratitude to his teachers and parents for accompanying him all the way, and encouraged students to continue to study and grow in the future, embrace their ideals and pursue their dreams. In his speech, Headmaster pointed out that “Education at Hua Lian goes beyond textbooks and exams to mold a complete personality that is thoughtful, rooted, and able to keep up with the times.” He emphasized the school’s commitment to nurturing students with humanistic qualities who are able to keep up with the times and equip them to face the challenges of the future. He also urged the graduates to remember the school motto “Etiquette, Righteousness, Integrity and Honor”, and to keep their curiosity and sincere and kind nature in the future, so that honesty and dreams can lead the direction of their lives. Board Representative, said that he knew that the IGCSE course was not easy, but the graduates had demonstrated their excellent learning ability through their unremitting efforts. He said, “Whether they choose A-LEVEL, matriculation or other pathways in the future, they should uphold the spirit of “learning without end, lifelong learning”, continue to grow and improve, and always believe in their own abilities. The movie “Memories” was then shown, presenting the graduates’ moments and highlights in campus life, which aroused a full of emotion among the teachers, students and parents present. In the diploma awarding session, the graduates went on stage one by one, and the scene was filled with a warm and grateful atmosphere. At the end of the ceremony, all teachers and students sang the school song in unison to bring the ceremony to a successful conclusion. The graduates were reluctant to part, full of blessings, embarking on a new journey in life. After the ceremony, the graduates hosted a luncheon for guests, parents and teachers to thank them for their support and companionship along the way. They also created a small garden in the cafeteria as a gift to their alma mater to symbolize gratitude and giving back. This graduation ceremony not only witnesses the growth and transformation of students, but also gathers the love and blessings of teachers and parents. May all the graduates not forget the beginning, have faith in their hearts, and set off bravely for a brighter future.
